Kin & Kie was created to fill children's spaces with colour, imagination and a sense of belonging.
As a mother of two little girls, Kin and Kie was born from a desire to create beautiful, vibrant spaces children will remember long after they have outgrown them.
Kin is inspired by belonging - it reminds us where we come from. Our roots, home & family.
Kie is our little nod to kinders - the little ones who colour our world with wonder and imagination.
Kie also honours the village tht helps them grow.
OUR PROCESS
Handcrafted
Every Kin & Kie letter begins as natural clay.
Each one is carefully cast by hand, left to dry naturally, and fired at high temperatures to transform soft clay into strong, enduring ceramic.
Finished by hand
Every letter is glazed by hand in one of our signature colours before returning to the kiln for its final firing.
The result is a smooth, glossy finish that makes every piece beautifully unique.
SA Artisans
Our letters are handmade by talented ceramic artisans in South Africa.
Made on local soil, each piece carries a story of care, creativity and proudly local craftsmanship.
