Shipping policy

At Kin & Kie, every order is handmade with care. Because each piece is crafted to order, please allow time for us to create something truly special for you.

Production Time

All products are handmade to order.

Our standard production time is 2–3 weeks before your order is dispatched. During busy periods, production may take slightly longer. Should there be any significant delays, we will contact you as soon as possible.

Shipping

We currently deliver throughout South Africa.

Shipping is charged at a flat rate of R100 per order.

Shipping fees are calculated and displayed at checkout before payment is completed.

Delivery Time

Once your order has been dispatched, delivery typically takes 2–5 business days, depending on your location.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to factors outside our control, including courier delays, weather conditions or peak delivery periods.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information, where available, so you can follow the progress of your delivery.

Delivery Address

Please ensure that your delivery address and contact details are correct when placing your order.

Kin & Kie cannot be held responsible for delays or additional delivery charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by the customer.

Failed Deliveries

If a delivery cannot be completed because no one is available to receive the parcel or the delivery information provided is incorrect, the courier may attempt redelivery or return the parcel to us.

Any additional courier charges for redelivery may be the responsibility of the customer.

Risk and Ownership

Ownership of your order transfers to you once payment has been received in full.

The risk of loss or damage passes to you once your order has been delivered to the delivery address provided at checkout.

Damaged Deliveries

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery by emailing info.handmadeletters@gmail.com with your order number and photographs of the item and its packaging.
